New Ultrasonic Converters

Our replacement converters are manufactured to meet and exceed the specification of the OEM when ever possible. We test each converter after it has been aged for the appropriate length of time making certain that the efficiency is optimum for that particular style converter. We keep all the pertinent measurements on each converter that we manufacture. Square wave with node and anti node readings, frequency in air and under load, for both parallel and series type generators along with amplitude measurement, when required, as well as impedance.

Rebuilt Ultrasonic Converters

The heart of the converter is the Driver which consists of 4 to 6 piezo electric ceramics in 20kHz systems and 2 to 4 ceramics at other frequencies sandwiched together between metal wafers which separate each ceramic and distributes the positive charge and negative ground across the surface of each ceramic. These ceramics are matched and measured for common property characteristic to meet Qm efficiency requirements for each style of converter.

Our rebuilt converters use the same driver we use for our new converters the only difference being the canister we use is the one you sent us with your broken converter. You are, in fact, getting a brand new converter back in your original canister.

When we rebuild and use your canister and back cap all new internal parts are used. The only thing we reuse is the canister and back cap so you save money on the cost of a new canister.

Pre-owned Ultrasonic Converters

We receive pre-owned converters from time to time. Cosmetically they may not appear to be pretty, then again some of them look brand new. The bottom line to you is the pricing. We warranty these for one year.

Rebuilding Ultrasonic Converters and Ultrasonic Transducers

When you send us your Converter / Transducer we test and inspect it to make sure that the problem with your system is in fact the Converter / Transducer and not something else. If this is the case we will take the driver out of the canister and replace it with a totally new driver that has been aging on our shelves for at least 6 months. The driver represents all of the internal components that are needed for the ultrasonic converter / transducer to operate. Once these are replaced in the canister, and the top is secured in place, the Converter / Transducer is tested in air and then under load for power draw, frequency and impedance. If the numbers look good, they are recorded and your Converter / Transducer is shipped back to you.
